BCRD offers special events and clinics for youth throughout the year.

Summer Football Camp

Who: Rising 2nd-4th Grade Boys and Girls

When: July 21st - July 25th 2025
9:00am -11:30am

Registration: Monday, March 17th at 5:30 pm

This 5 day flag football camp, led by Robin Englehardt, former Stanford football player and Wood River coach will focus on fundamentals, skills and fun. The week will culminate with a mini "Super Bowl" on Friday July 25th. Camp includes 12.5 hours of instruction.

Cost: $150




Summer Basketball Academy

Who: Boys and girls in 1st through 8th grade

When: August 18-21, Tuesday through Thursday
  • Rising 1st -3rd Graders 4:00 - 5:15 pm
  • Rising 4th-8th Grade Players 5:15- 6:45 pm

Registration: June 25

Summer Basketball academy will be led by international professional player and Director of Attack Basketball Academy, Tanner Hazelbaker in partnership with the BCRD. Each player will receive an Attack Basketball academy T- shirt and copy of “Basketball Skills Training Guide” authored by Tanner.

Cost: $120-$140

Champs Camp- Pickleball 101

Who: Boys and girls entering 3rd through 6th grade

When and Where:

  • Sun Valley: Friday , August 15, 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM
  • Hailey: Thursday , August 14, 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM

Registration: Wednesday, July 16, 2025

BCRD and the Wood River Pickleball Alliance are partnering to offer two one-day pickleball clinics for children entering 3rd through 6th grade. Camp includes three hours of instruction and a t-shirt.

Participants will learn the fundamentals of pickleball and have the opportunity to be coached by some of the valley’s top players, including Valley Club pro Matty. This is a great chance for kids to be active, build skills, and have fun!

Cost: $15

Strength and Conditioning for Middle and High School Athletes

Who: Middle and High School Athletes

When: Tuesday, May 6th - Tuesday, June 3rd (9 Sessions)
3:45 pm - 5:00 pm (FULL)
5:00 pm - 6:15 pm *NEW*

Where: BCRD FitWorks Large Studio

Led by Kyle Sela, Doctor of Physical Therapy and Strength and Conditioning Coach. Participants will be trained to their own ability in a safe and effective manner using progressive overload. There will be a mix of free weights (barbells, dumbbells, kettlebells), machines, bands, bodyweight, and plyometric exercises used in the program. The goal of the program is to learn to lift weights safely, learn to move more efficiently, become measurably stronger and more powerful and gain the confidence and knowledge to workout independently. Scholarships are available.

Spring Basketball Academy

Who: Boys and girls in 3rd through 8th grade

When: Tuesdays and Wednesdays
April 1st - May 7th
4:00 - 5:30 pm & 5:30 - 7:00 pm

2023 Pump Track Challenge

Join us for the Pump Track Challenge, an exciting event exclusively for kids from Pre-K to 6th grade! This competition will test the skills of participants in different age groups. Pre-K to 6th graders will compete for the fastest times on the pump tracks. Mark your calendars for September 16th from 10:00am to 1:00 p.m. at Quigley Trails Park in Hailey. It's an event you won't want to miss, as young riders demonstrate their talent and passion in a thrilling atmosphere. Join us for an afternoon of adrenaline-pumping action!
