Assistant Aquatics Manager
The Assistant Aquatics Manager supports the Aquatics Manager in overseeing staff, ensuring safety, and maintaining high-quality aquatics programs. Responsibilities include supervising lifeguards and instructors, coordinating schedules, monitoring program quality, maintaining facility cleanliness, and assisting with emergency protocols. Candidates must complete Ellis and Associates training, including CPR/First Aid/AED certification, and have strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. Must be 21 years or older, with prior aquatics and supervisory experience preferred. Approved background check required.
Lifeguard & Swim School Instructor
This dual role combines lifeguarding and swim instruction responsibilities to ensure safety and provide quality swim lessons at the BCRD Aquatics Center. Lifeguard duties include enforcing safety protocols, maintaining the facility, and attending required training. Swim School Instructor duties involve teaching lessons, evaluating participants, and preparing materials. Candidates must complete pre-season training, including CPR/First Aid/AED certification, and demonstrate proficiency in swim instruction. Must be 15 years or older with an approved background check.
Lifeguard
The Lifeguard ensures the safety of all patrons at the Aquatics Center by following Ellis and Associates safety protocols, responding to emergencies, and performing regular equipment inspections. Responsibilities include maintaining a clean and safe facility, documenting maintenance, and attending required training and staff meetings. Candidates must complete 23 hours of pre-season training, including CPR/First Aid/AED certification, and meet swim instruction proficiency standards. Must be 15 years or older with an approved background check.
Swim Team Assistant Coach
The Swim Team Assistant Coach supports the Head Coach in all aspects of the summer youth swim program, including developing curriculum, coaching practices and meets, and assisting with team events. This role emphasizes fostering sportsmanship, teamwork, and skill development while ensuring compliance with Sage Brush League rules.
Candidates must have strong communication, time management, and problem-solving skills, along with basic swim coaching knowledge. Current CPR/First Aid certification and a background check are required.
BCRD Front Desk Positions
Front Desk Attendants provide excellent customer service to Fitworks and Gymnasium Guests. This position includes answering phones, assisting walk-in customers, using a point-of-sale, and performing opening and closing procedures.
