After School Care
The BCRD Hub after school program provides quality, play-based after school care every day that school is in session. The After School Program is a licensed child-care program featuring professional staff and plenty of indoor and outdoor fun. Kids will enjoy a variety of activities including station choices, group activities and snack making.

Recess from School
*Scholarships are available! Call (208) 578-2273 for more information prior to registering your child(ren), or fill out a scholarship request form (available in English and Español). Monthly and Recess from School enrollments are eligible for scholarship rates.
All day programming for K-5th grade when school is out for breaks, parent/teacher conferences, or in-service days from 8:00 am – 5:30 pm.

The HUB After School Program
Who: Kindergarten through 5th grade
Where: At the HUB Youth Center in the Community Campus.
Registration: All children will be required to be pre-registered to attend the HUB.
Important Online Registration Information: If registering online for this program, please read the form and the questions carefully, and provide the correct answer in the correct space on the form.
Please visit the Blaine County School District website for more information regarding bus transportation options HERE. You must call the bus office at (208) 578-5420 to reserve your child’s space on the bus.
What to bring: Active shoes and appropriate seasonal gear (for indoor & outdoor play), 2 or healthy more snacks, and a labeled water bottle.
Cost: $1,525 for the School Year, or $43.50/Day (Recess from school only) *Scholarships are available!
HUB After School and Recess from School Refund Policy
BCRD will issue a refund if a child’s participation in a HUB program is cut short due to one of the following:
- the participant (child) is injured, becomes ill, or is asked to leave the program due to the participant (child) being a danger to him/herself and/or others
- the program is cancelled due to weather or other circumstances beyond the control of BCRD
- the program is cancelled due to a federal, state, or county mandated closure.
HUB After School: A non-refundable 10% registration fee is required for enrollment. If the participant meets the criteria above, a refund will be issued on a prorated basis according to days left in the program less 10%.
Recess from School: is fully refundable if canceled or requested before the scheduled day. Please note that BCRD does not offer refunds for no-shows.
